How does a boat request work?
You fill in the form on the boat profile; the request is logged and the team is notified. You receive confirmation and operational details from the operator.
Do I need a boat licence?
It depends on the boat and trip type. Many listings include a skipper — always check the profile.
Can I ask for an island tour?
Yes — give date, group size and preferences in your message. The operator proposes route and timing based on weather and season.
Does the portal charge commission?
No. Ischia Rental does not charge commission on the request; agreement and payment are with the nautical operator.
How far ahead should I book?
In July–August book several days ahead if possible. Spring and early summer often have shorter-notice availability except on holidays.
Bad weather?
Safety comes first: the operator may offer postponement, a new time or cancellation per their terms. Ask for the weather policy at confirmation.
Licence-free boats on Ischia?
The showcase includes licence-free dinghies from Forio (e.g. Sacs Marine, 2 Bar, Terminal Boat Freestyle) within legal limits — see each profile.
Skipper on a licence-free dinghy?
Often available on request for the licence-free boats — availability and cost with the operator. On Dolphin, Lenù and Maresutto a skipper is included.
What is included on skippered boats?
For Dolphin, Lenù and Maresutto indicative rates include skipper and fuel. Shower, fridge, WC or snorkel kit vary by boat — check the profile; extras are agreed before sailing.
Is fuel included?
Depends on the formula. On self-drive dinghies fuel is usually pay-at-use at the end. On skippered boats it is typically included in the indicative rate.
