Ischia has three main passenger ports: Ischia Porto, Casamicciola and Forio. Hydrofoils are faster from Naples; ferries are slower but steadier and often cheaper.
If you booked vehicle pick-up at the pier, confirm the exact meeting point and ferry arrival time with your partner. Many renters prefer Ischia Porto for the shortest handover after disembarking.
